I have recently noticed the increase in height of high heels in New York. Now personally I don't know how women walk more than a few feet in these but they do make you do a double take. I think these ones by Micheal Kors are pretty cool. $195 at Intermix.

I really like these shoes. If and high heels can be considered "sporty" looking it would be these. The straps are quite different looking.
