New for Spring...off the shoulder loose boyfriend tees. The ultimate in relaxation and comfort. Although I am not sure if these will work on every body shape. If you have wide shoulders they tend to look too boxy. Styles shown Free People.

The "boyfriend" trend is something that I actually hope passes soon; however, loose tees are definitely a "must-have" right now. As you said in the posting, I only think it's suited for certain body types. I feel like the reason we have fashion is to celebrate the human form and accentuate the gender roles in place in society--basically, I like it when women look like women and men look like men. Now, there are times when a little androgyny makes for a HOT look and I am all for that, but not to the degree of the second photo shown. It just looks like she's wearing "hand-me-downs". Fashion is Life!

If you love the FP voluminous tops look you should also check out their sub brand We The Free. We the Free has a store in Brooklyn that has awesome trendy voluminous tops and their little shop is so cool! It's definatley worth the trip on the F train. They carry items you can only get there too. Here's a link to my favorite top they have in the store right now: http://www.freepeople.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/products.detail/productID/1aa002c7-d982-4544-b2d0-2c9521c7eeb6/categoryID/5837141b-2817-4451-b97e-9c011156bddc
Also from what I've experienced this look does look great on many body types if it's paired with the right pair of jeans or leggings!
love loose shirts.
they're so great.
anyway, great blog.

love it!! I love the boyfriend style baggy shirts
I love this look, especially for my body type. I don't really care for the boyfriend jeans though. I've seen these shirts at www.Shopmasons.com, but not really anywhere else.
